Onedia N. Gage has founded this organization for the purpose of changing the lives of girls because they become women. The legacy she will leave is one where her own daughter will understand what it takes to hold her head up in spite of all diversity.

Rev. Onedia N. Gage is a girl who was emotionally abandoned at an early age who does not want other girls to go at life alone. She seeks to continue to answer the needs of girls through her activities, published works, speeches, talks and workshops. Rev. Gage is committed to the success of every girl who comes in her path.

Her life philosophy is three – fold: A) ―What have you done today to invest in your future? B) Reading is essential to your positive contribution to our community; and, C) ―If not me, who? If not now, when? She feels her time is best spent when youth benefit from her experiences.

Her community efforts are commendable as a Board of Directors of YMCA-Northeast, Houston, Living Forward Alliance and Spaulding for Children. Because of her volunteerism with the Houston Area Urban League’s NULITES, she was elected one of the youngest board members of the Houston Area Urban League. She is also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., National Council of Negro Women, Toastmasters, International, and Top Ladies of Distinction.

She is the author of 26 books of several genres including poetry, fiction, daily devotionals and prayer journals.
